The Athlon Sports top 25 is out. There are some agreements and disagreements we have on this. Here is a look at the top 10.

2. Texas

3. LSU

4. Wisconsin

5. West Virginia

6. Florida

7. Oklahoma

8. Michigan

9. Virginia Tech

10. Rutgers

The problem is having a Texas at number 2. They have lost a BIG majority of their defense. Colt McCoy is back as well as Sweed and Charles, but you must have a defense to win.

Florida is the reigning champion sitting at number 6. Yes they lost some of their team, but last time I checked, Tebow got it done for the time he was actually in the game. Coach Meyer will have a team ready to compete again.

The hometown Sooners are ranked rather high for not having a proven QB yet. Bradford, Hazle, Nichol is all the team has and none of them have shown anything come gametime. If their guy don't make mistakes, OU could be scary good. Their defense is ready right now and they just have to have someone who won't break under the helm.
